Dr. Kathryn Zelma
Dr. Kathryn received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph in 2013 and went on to graduate as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after spending her clinical year at Michigan State University.
Kathryn’s passion for animals started at a young age as she helped family and friends care for their fuzzy companions. Her continued desire to help others was reflected in her experiences tutoring fellow students while also fostering adoptable cats and dogs while they were looking for their forever homes. Since she started practicing, Dr. Kathryn enjoys forming meaningful relationships with both pets and their owners and finds this one of the most rewarding parts of being a veterinarian. She strives to help pet parents in understanding and improving their companion’s wellbeing to help pets live longer, healthier, happier lives. Dr. Kathryn has special interests in internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, and neurology.
Dr. Kathryn lives with her significant other and their two cats, Sheena and Maci. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, hiking, practicing yoga, and music. /
