Vaccinations for Puppies and Dogs

All pet owners wish to protect their loyal companion from life-threatening diseases. A big part of preventative medicine is ensuring your pet is vaccinated. Your pets aren’t born with immunity to fight all conditions that may have long-term effects on their health. This is why we recommend vaccines. We provide all the vaccines that your furry pal may need.

What vaccines are recommended for puppies and dogs?

Our clinic offers a range of vaccines including core and non-core vaccines. In fact, some core vaccines are required by law because they protect against highly transmissible and severe diseases. Some core vaccines are:

1. Rabies
2. Canine Hepatitis
3. Canine Distemper
4. Canine Parvovirus

Non-core vaccines, on the other hand, are recommended based on each pet. Some pets’ lifestyles means they are exposed to more risk factors. Some non-core vaccines include:

1. Lyme disease
2. Bordetella

If you need to discuss which vaccines your loyal companion needs, call us at 905.707.9059.

Are vaccines safe for my pet?

Yes, vaccinations are safe for your pet. Vaccines are designed specifically to boost the overall health and safety of your loyal companion. The vaccines that are recommended for your pet have been scientifically proven to protect them from serious health conditions.

Dear Clients,

We are continuing to strive to provide the best medicine possible for your pets during these challenging times. Below are some important updates to our operating policies.

1. WE CAN NOW SEE ALL CASES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
This includes vaccines, wellness exams, blood work, spays and neuters, dental services, and more!

2. SAFETY MEASURES TO KEEP EVERYONE SAFE

  • Continue our "closed waiting room" policy to protect our clients and staff. When you arrive, please remain outside the hospital and use your cell phone to call us. We will take a history of your pet's health and discuss any concerns. A staff member will then meet you outside to bring your pet into the hospital for an examination. The Veterinarian will call you to discuss the recommended treatment plan. After your appointment, a staff member will return your pet to you outside, and take care of any needed medications and payment.
  • Continue the use of credit cards as the preferred payment method.
  • Continue with curbside pickup of food and medication (unless you have used our online store and are having your order delivered directly to your home). Please make sure to wear a facemask when picking up your orders. To place an order through our online store, visit our website and click on Online Store.
